Suspension for Intramammary Injection
DESCRIPTION :
white or light cream color.
COMPOSITION :
10 ml contains active substances:
Cloxacillin sodium salt – 300 mg;
Neomycin sulfate – 150 mg;
Sulfatiazol sodium – 500 mg.
PHARMACOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
The combination of antibiotics neomycin and Cloxacillin with sulfonamides provide a wide total spectrum of bactericidal action against most gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, the main agents of mastitis (Staphylococcus, E. coli, Klebsiella, Proteus, Salmonella, Enterobacter, Serratia, Shigella, Mycoplasma).
APPLICATION:
Mastcure use for the treatment of dairy cows suffering from serous, catarrhal, fibrinous, purulent, or subclinical mastitis.
DOSAGE:
Cows are injected by contents of one syringe tube in the share of the affected breast, which is pre-washed, disinfected, and milked.
we should inject 10 ml of the drug directly from the syringe tube slowly into the udder.
After the injection is done, a gentle massage of the affected share of the breast (from top to bottom) for its uniform distribution throughout the udder.
Before the injection we should do the following: *The tube should be heated to a temperature of (35- 38)°C in a water bath and actively shaken in order to obtain a homogeneous mass.
Repeated injections are conducted after milking the cows everyday evening for 3-5 days.
Sheep and goats are injected by half of the contents of one syringe tube in the affected share of the breast in accordance with the above scheme. The course of treatment is 3-5 days.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not apply to animals with hypersensitivity to the active ingredients of the drug.
PRECAUTIONS:
During treatment and for the first 72 hours after the last injection, milk from the sick share of the udder should be separated into a different bowl and recycle.
Is prohibited to slaughter animals for meat during treatment.
Meat consumption is allowed in 7 days after the last injection.

The drug is stored separately from food, beverages, including the animal feed.
