COMPOSITION :

1 syringe tube (5 g) contains active substances(mg):

Cloxacillin sodium salt – 200;

Amoxicillin trihydrate – 75.

Excipients: up to 5 g

DESCRIPTION :

  • Form: Suspension
  • Color: Gray to grayish-white
  • Smell: Specific

PHARMACOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Active Ingredients:
    • Cloxacillin Sodium Salt: Effective against gram-positive bacteria.
    • Amoxicillin Trihydrate: Broad-spectrum activity against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
  • Target Microorganisms:
    • Gram-Positive Bacteria: Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus uberis, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Staphylococcus spp., Corynebacterium pyogenes, C. uberis, C. dysgalactiae.
    • Gram-Negative Bacteria: E. coli, Bacillus cereus, Bacteroides, Campylobacter spp., Klebsiella, Pasteurella.
  • Mechanism of Action:
    • Inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to osmotic imbalance and bacterial death.

APPLICATION:

  • Treatment of clinical and subclinical mastitis of bacterial etiology in cattle (cows) during lactation.

DOSAGE:

  • Administration:
    • Inject the contents of one syringe tube into the affected udder quarter.
    • Ensure the udder is pre-washed, disinfected, and milked before injection.
    • Application: Inject slowly into the udder.
    • Preparation: Heat the syringe tube to 35-38°C in a water bath and shake vigorously to ensure a homogeneous mass before injection.
    • Massage: After injection, gently massage the udder from top to bottom for even distribution.
  • Frequency:
    • Repeated injections are administered every evening after milking for 3-5 days.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

  • Allergy: Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to the active ingredients.

PRECAUTIONS:

  • Milk Consumption: Allowed 3 days after the last injection.
  • Meat Consumption: Allowed 4 days after the last injection.
  • Post-Treatment: Milk and meat obtained within the withdrawal periods should be discarded or used for unproductive animals based on veterinary advice.

  • Conditions: Store in a dry, dark place at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C.
