DESCRIPTION:

The emulsion is white, odorless, and tasteless.

COMPOSITION:

1 ml contains active substances:

Rafoxanide 110 mg,

Fenbendazole 75 mg,

Levamisole hydrochloride 3 mg.

Additional substances: up to 1 ml.

PHARMACOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Rafoxizole is an anthelmintic broad-spectrum drug, consisting of active substances rafoxanide, fenbendazole, and levamisole hydrochloride.

The mechanism of action of rafoxanide is the inhibition of the process of oxidative phosphorylation and mitochondrial synthesis of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the change in the energy balance of parasite that causes the death of worms. Fenbendazole inhibits the enzyme system of worms, which also leads to the disruption of energy metabolism and causes the death of the parasites.

The mechanism of action of levamisole hydrochloride is related to its effect on the neuromuscular system and inhibition of enzymes of parasites, leading to paralysis and death of worms.

Rafoxizole effective against mature trematode family Paramphistomatidae and their larvae (over 6 weeks of age). The drug is also active against mature trematode species Fasciola hepatica and Dicrocelium lanceatum; gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes: Bunostomum spp., Capillaria spp., Chabertia spp., Cooperia spp., Dictyocaulidae spp., Gaigeria spp., Haemonchus spp., Nematodirus spp., Oesophagostomum spp., Ostertagia spp., Protostrondylus spp., Strongyloides spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Trichuris spp. etc.; certain types of cestodes: Avitellina centripumctata, Moniezia expansa, Moniezia benedeni, Thysaniezia giardia) and larvae Oestrus ovis.

APPLICATION:

For deworming of cattle, sheep, and goats in case of distomiasis ( paramphistomatosis, dicrocoeliasis, fascioliasis), nematodiasis of intestinal canal and lungs, as well as cestodiasis caused by certain types of cestodes.

DOSAGE:

Deworming is carried out once before the morning feeding.

The drug is administered internally with warm water (25-30°C) using a bottle or in a mixture of 1.5-2 kg wet feed doses:

Cattle: dicrocoeliasis, fascioliasis – 0,75 ml / 10 kg of body weight, paramphistomatosis, nematodosis – 1 ml / 10 kg of body weight;

Sheep, Goats: diverse helminthiasis – 0,75 ml / 10 kg of body weight.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Do not use for down-calving and just calved cows, animals with clinical signs of disorder of the digestive system (atony forestomach, meteorism), depletion, and infectious diseases.

Do not use in conjunction with bromsalanflukicide.

PRECAUTIONS:

Before the mass deworming it is better to try it on several animals and observe during the day.

Meat consumption is allowed in 28 days,

Milk consumption is allowed in 7 days after the last use of the drug.

PACKAGING :

Bottles of polymeric materials of 500 and 1000 ml.

STORAGE:

Dry, dark place at a temperature from 5°C to 25°C.
