DESCRIPTION :
A clear, oily liquid from yellow to dark yellow color.
COMPOSITION :
1 ml contains active substances:
Oxytetracycline (dihydrate) – 200 mg.
Excipients: up to 1ml.
PHARMACOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS :
Oxytetracycline is a bacteriostatic antibiotic, that affects on ribosome of bacteria and inhibits the synthesis of bacterial proteins. The drug has a broad spectrum of activity, it is susceptible to gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (Salmonella spp., Pasteurella spp., E.coli, Actinomyces spp., Bacillus anthracis, Clostridium perfringens, Clostridium tetani, Listeria monocytogenes, Nocardia spp., Brucella spp., Haemophilus spp., Bordetella spp., Bartonella spp., Shigella spp., Yersinia spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Pseudomonas spp., Proteus spp.), and protozoa (Protozoa), mycoplasma (Mycoplasma spp.), rickettsia (Rickettsia spp.) and chlamydia (Chlamydia spp.).
APPLICATION:
CATTLE: Treatment of animals suffering from pasteurellosis, brucellosis, enteritis and gastroenteritis, pneumonia, metritis, mastitis, anaplasmosis, keratoconjunctivitis, salmonellosis, colibacillosis, mycoplasmosis, diphtheria of calves, actinomycosis, chlamydiosis, and other infections caused by susceptible to oxytetracycline microorganisms.
PIGS: treatment of animals suffering from pneumonia, enteritis, gastroenteritis, pasteurellosis, MMA syndrome, atrophic rhinitis, dysentery, mycoplasmosis, and other infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to oxytetracycline.
SHEEP AND GOATS: treatment of animals suffering from enteritis, infectious abortion, pyelonephritis, brucellosis, arthritis, pasteurellosis, chlamydia infections of the respiratory system, and other diseases caused by microorganisms susceptible to oxytetracycline.
DOSAGE:
Intramuscularly at a dose of 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight once.
In severe disease, drug application can be repeated after 72 hours.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to tetracycline drugs.
Do not assign animals with renal insufficiency and on the first months of life.
PRECAUTIONS:
Meat consumption is allowed in 22 days after the last application.
Milk consumption is allowed in 3 days (6 milkings) after the last application
Received by the deadline meat and milk, fed to unproductive animals or utilize, depending on the conclusion of a veterinarian.
If the amount exceeds 20 ml dose for cattle, pigs 10 ml and 5 ml for sheep and goats, it must be divided and injected in different areas of the body.
PACKAGING :
Bottles made of transparent brown hydrolytic glass closed with a rubber plug under an aluminum cap 100, and 250 ml.
