DESCRIPTION :

Suspension from gray to a grayish-white color with a specific smell.

COMPOSITION :

1 syringe tube (5 g) contains active substances(mg):

Cloxacillin sodium salt – 200;

Amoxicillin trihydrate – 75.

Excipients: up to 5 g

PHARMACOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Mastistop is a combined antimicrobial drug that includes cloxacillin sodium salt and amoxicillin trihydrate, which are active against most strains of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms (Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus uberis, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Staphylococcus spp., Corynebacterium pyogenes, C. uberis, C. dysgalactiae, C. pyogenes, E. Coli, Bacillus cereus, Bacteroides, Campylobacter spp., Klebsiella, Pasteurella).

The mechanism of action of antibiotics provides violation of the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, causing osmotic imbalance of bacteria and their death.

APPLICATION:

Treatment of cattle (cows), suffering from clinical, subclinical forms of mastitis of bacterial etiology during lactation.

DOSAGE:

The syringe tube should be injected into the share of the affected breast, which is pre-washed, disinfected, and milked. inject the drug directly from the syringe tube slowly into the udder. After the injection is done, a gentle massage of the affected share of the breast (from top to bottom) for its uniform distribution throughout the udder.
Before the injection we should do the following: *The tube should be heated to a temperature of (35- 38)°C in a water bath and actively shaken in order to obtain a homogeneous mass.
Repeated injections are conducted after milking the cows everyday evening for 3-5 days.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Do not apply to animals with hypersensitivity to the active ingredients of the drug.

PRECAUTIONS:

Milk consumption is allowed after 3 days from the last injection.

Meat consumption is allowed after 4 days from the last injection.

STORAGE:
