COMPOSITION :

1 ml contains: Closantel – 50 mg;

PHARMACOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

The active ingredient of the drug – closantel, antiparasitic agent, structurally derived salicylanilide that has a long effect on endo- and ectoparasites.

Closantel blocks the phosphorylation process (formation of ATP) in the body of parasites through interference in the process of transporting electrons, changing energy metabolism, resulting in the death of parasites.

Closantel has a wide range of actions, effective in the treatment of parasitic diseases of cattle and small ruminants caused by nematodes, trematodes, and arthropods.

Closantel is rapidly absorbed after oral or intramuscular administration.

Blood sheep concentration reached Maximum after 8-24 hours of administration.

Blood cattle concentration reached Maximum after 24-48 hours of administration.

The half-decomposition is approximately 12-15 days.

Most of all closantel is concentrated in the lungs and kidneys, and the main way of its metabolism is renewable deionization.
