Oral Emulsion

DESCRIPTION :

Homogeneous emulsion from green to brown color with a slight specific odor of mixture components. Sediment is allowed.

COMPOSITION :

100 ml contains active substances (ml):

Hellebore tincture – 3,5g

Antifoam (simethicone) – 3,0g

Lactic acid – 3,0g

Wormwood tincture – 2,5g

Hypericum tincture – 3,5g

PHARMACOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS :

he drug, when injected into an animal, prevents flatulence in the digestive canal, destroys gas bubbles formed in feed masses, and facilitates their rapid removal from the organism. It exhibits antiseptic and ruminal effects, increases peristalsis, and reduces the tone of the stomach sphincter and proventriculus of ruminants.

APPLICATION :

The drug is intended for the treatment of cattle, goats, and sheep in cases of acute foamy tympany and for the treatment of horses in cases of intestinal flatulence. For cattle, horses, goats, and sheep, the drug is administered orally using a rubber bottle or through an esophageal probe directly into the cavity. It is also possible to administer the injection into the cavity by piercing the abdominal wall with a trocar or needle for injection. For horses, the drug is injected through the esophageal tube.

DOSAGE :

Before application, the bottle containing the drug must be shaken. The drug is administered orally at the following doses (ml per 10 kg of body weight):

  • Cattle: 4-5 ml
  • Horses: 4-5 ml
  • Sheep, goats: 5-10 ml

Before application, the emulsion should be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10 (1 part of the drug per 10 parts of water).

If symptoms do not disappear within 15-20 minutes after application, the drug can be administered again to the animal at the same doses but in a dilution of 1:5 (1 part drug per 5 parts water).

The application of the drug does not preclude the simultaneous use of other drugs or agents, except ruminal drugs.

CONTRAINDICATIONS :

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

It should not be used in other animals or in conjunction with other ruminal drugs.

PRECAUTIONS :

Avoid use in weak, exhausted, and sick animals, particularly those with infectious diseases.

PACKAGING:

Available in glass or polymeric bottles of 100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml, and 1000 ml.

STORAGE:

Store in a dry place protected from direct sunlight at a temperature ranging from 1°C to 35°C. Do not store together with food, beverages, or animal feeds.
