COMPOSITION:

1 ml contains active substances:

Sulfadimethoxine sodium salt – 300 mg;

Sulfadiazine sodium salt – 300 mg;

Trimethoprim – 120 mg.

PHARMACOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

The drug containing sulfonamides and trimethoprim blocks two successive stages of folic acid biosynthesis in bacterial cells, inhibiting bacterial growth and propagation effectively. The combination of sulfonamides and trimethoprim extends its antimicrobial spectrum against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., E. coli, Salmonella spp., and many others. It also affects some protozoa. This combination reduces the likelihood of resistant strains.

APPLICATION:

Used to treat gastrointestinal, respiratory, and genitourinary diseases in various animals, including cattle, sheep, goats, horses, pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, and poultry. It addresses conditions like gastritis, enteritis, bronchopneumonia, postpartum sepsis, mastitis, and more, caused by bacteria susceptible to sulfadimethoxine, sulfadiazine, and trimethoprim.
