COMPOSITION:

1 ml contains the active ingredient:
levamisole hydrochloride – 100 mg.

CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY:

Levamisole hydrochloride, an imidazole derivative and biologically active compound, is safer than tetramisole. It disrupts the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, affecting the neuromuscular system of parasites, leading to muscle contraction, paralysis, and ultimately death. Additionally, it inhibits carbohydrate metabolism in parasites, blocking ATP synthesis.

Levamisole is effective against larvae and mature forms of gastrointestinal nematodes in cattle, sheep, and goats, as well as pulmonary nematodes. It also targets gastrointestinal and lungworms in pigs, gastrointestinal nematodes in dogs, and various nematodes in poultry.
