COMPOSITION
Each ml contains:
Tilmicosin (as tilmicosin phosphate) ………….. 250 mg
Solvents ad …………………………………………………. 1 ml
INDICATIONS
For the prevention (metaphylaxis) and treatment of bacterial respiratory diseases in poultry caused by organisms susceptible to tilmicosin, including Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae, Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale, Pasteurella multocida, and other sensitive microorganisms.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
For oral administration.
Poultry:
• 300 ml per 1000 liters of drinking water (75 ppm) for 3 consecutive days
Calves:
• 1 ml per 20 kg body weight, administered twice daily via artificial milk for 3–5 days
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity or resistance to tilmicosin.
Do not use concurrently with other macrolides or lincosamides.
Do not administer to animals with active microbial digestion.
Do not use in equine or caprine species.
Do not administer by parenteral routes, particularly in porcine species.
Do not use in poultry producing eggs for human consumption or in animals intended for breeding purposes.
During pregnancy and lactation, use only following a risk–benefit assessment by a veterinarian.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat and offal:
Calves: 42 days
Broilers: 12 days
STORAGE
Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from light.
