DESCRIPTION
This product is a combination of compounds intended to support liver function and to prevent and correct fat deposition in hepatocytes. Free fatty acids are partially metabolized in the liver to form triglycerides, which may be stored in hepatocytes, resulting in fatty liver when an imbalance exists between fatty acid uptake, synthesis, export, and oxidation.
Carnitine, betaine, choline, and D‑panthenol are key metabolites involved in these processes and play a role in regulating fatty acid transport into the liver, fatty acid β‑oxidation, hepatic secretion of triglycerides, and lipid peroxidation. Sorbitol and magnesium act as osmotic agents that facilitate the elimination of toxic products from the gastrointestinal tract. Magnesium also serves as an essential component of enzymes involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids.
INDICATIONS
A dietetic liquid supplement formulated to support liver function, correct fatty liver conditions, and manage digestive disturbances in animals fed lithogenic diets (high in oil, fat, cholesterol, and cholic acid) or under conditions associated with increased mobilization of fatty acids from adipose tissue.
