COMPOSITION:
Each ML contains:
- Vitamin A – 50,000 IU
- Vitamin D3 – 25,000 IU
- Vitamin E – 20 mg
- Vitamin F – 5 mg
PHARMACOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Vitamin A, a fat-soluble vitamin, participates in crucial redox processes in carbohydrate and fat metabolism, influencing mineral and hormonal exchanges. It regulates oxygen uptake in biochemical processes, supports liver function, ensures proper organ function, and plays a vital role in vision, skin health, and reproductive system function.
Vitamin D3, also a fat-soluble vitamin, regulates calcium and phosphorus metabolism from absorption to excretion. It aids in bone tissue formation, regulates blood and bone calcium and phosphorus levels, and maintains a healthy physiological balance.
Vitamin E, another fat-soluble vitamin, acts as a regulator in lipid and protein biosynthesis, increases myosin and actomyosin levels, prevents fat oxidation, and protects against the formation of toxic metabolites. It maintains cell membrane integrity, prevents muscle disease, and supports epithelial health in various tissues.
Vitamin F reduces blood cholesterol levels, normalizes blood clotting, participates in lipid metabolism, and increases albumin levels. Its deficiency may lead to increased cholesterol and beta-globulins, reduced albumin, and chronic dermatitis in animals.
APPLICATION:
The drug is utilized for the prevention and treatment of A- and D-vitamin deficiencies, secondary osteodystrophy, postpartum hypocalcemia, hypophosphatemia, bed sores, respiratory issues, fractures, placental delay, and urogenital conditions. It is also effective during transportation, dietary changes, stress, surgeries, and trauma.
DOSAGE:
For preventive purposes, administer intramuscularly or subcutaneously once every 7-10 days.
For therapeutic purposes, administer intramuscularly once every 5 days until recovery (5-8 injections),
followed by prophylactic doses as needed. For oral use, administer daily at prophylactic doses.
Dosing is based on vitamin A content.
