COMPOSIOTION:
Each 1ml contains:
Acetyl- di – Methionine………………..200mg
PROPERITIES:
Methionine serves as a lipotropic agent and provides liver protection.
As an essential amino acid containing a sulfa atom, it shields the liver from necrosis.
Additionally, it safeguards against and aids in the treatment of steatosis, which involves the retention of lipids in the liver.
Methionine acts as a precursor to the amino acid cystine, which serves as a crucial source of muscle energy.
Furthermore, it has the property of acidifying urine.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Methionine can be administered via slow intravenous, intramuscular, subcutaneous injections, or orally in small animals.
Dosage:
- Cattle: 20-100 ml
- Horses: 50 ml
- Small ruminants: 20 ml
- Dogs: up to 10 ml
If required, the dosage can be repeated at intervals of 20-24 hours.
CONTRADICTIONS AND WARNINGS:
Intramuscular LM injections may cause slight discomfort or pain at times.
