Doxycycline hyclate ………………………………………. 500 mg

INDICATIONS
For the treatment of clinical respiratory infections in chickens and turkeys associated with Mycoplasma gallisepticum susceptible to doxycycline.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
For oral administration.
Chickens:
Administer 20 mg doxycycline per kg body weight daily (equivalent to 46 mg product per kg body weight) via drinking water for 5 consecutive days.
Turkeys:
Administer 25 mg doxycycline per kg body weight daily (equivalent to 58 mg product per kg body weight) via drinking water for 5 consecutive days.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to tetracyclines or any of the excipients.
Do not use when tetracycline resistance has been detected in the herd or flock due to the potential for cross‑resistance.
Do not use in animals with impaired liver or kidney function.
SIDE EFFECTS
As with all tetracyclines, allergic reactions and photosensitivity may occur on rare occasions.
If suspected adverse reactions occur, treatment should be discontinued.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat and offal:
Chickens: 5 days
Turkeys: 12 days
Not authorized for use in birds producing eggs for human consumption.
STORAGE
Store below 25 °C. Protect from light.
SHELF LIFE
36 months.
