
COMPOSITION
Each ml contains:
Spiramycin ……………………………………………………….. 600,000 IU

INDICATIONS
Treatment of acute clinical mastitis in lactating cows caused by Staphylococcus aureus strains susceptible to spiramycin.
Treatment of respiratory infections caused by Pasteurella multocida and Mannheimia haemolytica.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
For intramuscular administration.
Body weight should be determined as accurately as possible to avoid underdosing.
Mastitis:
• 30,000 IU spiramycin per kg body weight
(equivalent to 5 ml per 100 kg body weight)
• Administer twice at 24‑hour intervals
Respiratory infections:
• 100,000 IU spiramycin per kg body weight
(equivalent to 5 ml per 30 kg body weight)
• Administer twice at 48‑hour intervals
Do not administer more than 15 ml per injection site.
If the dose must be divided, injections should be administered on opposite sides of the neck.
When more than two injections are required on the same side, maintain a minimum distance of 15 cm between injection sites.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in residues exceeding the established maximum residue limit of 200 µg/kg in muscle.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to spiramycin.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Mastitis:
Meat and offal: 75 days
Milk: 13.5 days
Respiratory infections:
Meat and offal: 75 days
Milk: When used at the dosage required for respiratory infections, the product is not authorized for use in animals producing milk for human consumption.
STORAGE
