COMPOSITION :
Each ml contains:
Toltrazuril……………………………………25 mg
Excipients ad ………………………………..1 ml
Indication :
For the treatment of coccidiosis in chickens and turkeys caused by infections with various species of Eimeria.
Chickens: E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. maxima, E. mitis, E. necatrix,
E. tenella
Turkeys:E. adenoides, E. meleagrimitis
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE :
For oral administration via drinking water.
•500 ml per 500 liters of drinking water for continuous medication over 48 hours, or
•1500 ml per 500 liters of drinking water administered for
8 hours per day for 2 consecutive days.
This corresponds to a dose rate of 7 mg of toltrazuril per kg body weight per day for 2 consecutive days.
Note: The medicated drinking water must be the only source of drinking water during treatment.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.
SIDE EFFECTS:
None known.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Chickens:Meat and offal: 16 days
Turkeys:Meat and offal: 16 days
Not for use in birds producing or intended to produce eggs for human consumption.
Do not use within 6 weeks before the start of the laying period.
SHELF LIFE: 36 months.
STORAGE: Store below 30 °C. Protect from light.
