Composition:
Each ml contains:
Procaine Penicillin G……200000IU
Dihydrostreptomycin sulphate…….200mg
DESCRPTION :
This combination of procaine penicillin G and dihydrostreptomycin offers additive and sometimes synergistic effects. Procaine penicillin G is a narrow-spectrum penicillin that acts bactericidally against primarily Gram-positive bacteria such as Clostridium, Corynebacterium, Erysipelothrix, Listeria, penicillinase-negative Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus spp. Dihydrostreptomycin, on the other hand, is an aminoglycoside with bactericidal action against mainly Gram-negative bacteria like E. coli, Campylobacter, Klebsiella, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, and Salmonella spp.
APPLICATION:
This medication is effective against arthritis, mastitis, and infections in the gastrointestinal, respiratory, and urinary tracts caused by microorganisms sensitive to penicillin and dihydrostreptomycin. These microorganisms include Campylobacter, Clostridium, Corynebacterium, E. coli, Erysipelothrix, Haemophilus, Klebsiella, Listeria, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus spp. in calves, cattle, goats, sheep, and swine.

For intramuscular administration:
- Cattle: Administer 1 ml per 20 kg body weight for 3 days.
- Calves, goats, sheep, and swine: Administer 1 ml per 10 kg body weight for 3 days.
Ensure thorough shaking before use and avoid administering more than 20 ml in cattle, 10 ml in swine, and 5 ml in calves, sheep, and goats per injection site.
SIDE EFFECTS:
