Diminazene aceturate works by altering the process of aerobic glycolysis and DNA synthesis in protozoa, ultimately leading to their demise. Phenazone, on the other hand, possesses antipyretic and analgesic properties and reduces vascular permeability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This drug is effective against various protozoal infections, including babesia (B. bovis, B. bigemina, B. ovis, B. caballi, B. divergens, B. major, B. canis), trypanosomes (Tr. Vivax, Tr. Equiperdum, Tr. Evansi, Tr. brucei, Tr. congolense), and theileria (T. annulata, T. ovis). It is particularly effective against strains resistant to other drugs and in cases of concurrent protozoal infections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">APPLICATION:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Protecting and treating blood diseases like Babesiosis, Trypanosomiasis, and Theileriasis in various animals including cattle, sheep, goats, horses, pigs, dogs, and cats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dosage instructions for the drug, provided in a 7% solution, are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Preparation<\/strong>: Mix the contents of the powder package (available in 0.24 g, 2.4 g, or 24 g) with sterile water for injection. Use 1.25 ml, 12.5 ml, or 125 ml of water depending on the size of the powder package.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Administration<\/strong>: The prepared solution is administered either intramuscularly or subcutaneously. For cattle, sheep, goats, horses, and pigs, the therapeutic dose is 1 ml of the drug per 20 kg of body weight (equivalent to 3.5 mg of diminazene aceturate per 1 kg).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Repeat Dose<\/strong>: If there&#8217;s no improvement in the animal&#8217;s condition after the initial injection, administer the same dose again after 24-30 hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prophylactic Measure<\/strong>: If sick animals are found in the herd, administer the drug to all animals at a dose of 1 ml per 40 kg of body weight. For dogs and cats, use a 3.5% solution (prepared by mixing the bottle&#8217;s contents with double the amount of water).
