Sodium chloride \u2013 0.9 g<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PHARMACOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The isotonic solution acts to restore disturbed fluid and electrolyte balance by replenishing fluid volume and regulating osmotic processes. It helps correct sodium deficiency in various pathological conditions and possesses detoxification and rehydration properties. Isotonic to blood plasma, it rapidly increases circulating blood volume before being excreted via the kidneys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

APPLICATION:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indicated for animals experiencing significant fluid loss (dehydration) from conditions such as diarrhea, intoxication, post-surgery, shock, or low blood pressure. It is also used for wound irrigation, moistening mucous membranes, dissolving biological products and veterinary drugs, and as part of rehydration solutions and blood substitutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DOSAGE:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Administered intravenously, intramuscularly, or subcutaneously once daily at the following doses (ml per animal):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Cattle: 500-3000<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Horses: 300-2500<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Goats, Sheep, Pigs: 100-500<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Dogs: 20-100<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    CONTRAINDICATIONS<\/strong>:<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The solution is contraindicated in conditions such as hyponatremia, acidosis, hyperchloremia, hypoglycemia, extracellular hyperhydration, intracellular dehydration, cerebral edema, pulmonary edema, and circulatory disorders that may lead to brain and lung swelling. Use caution in animals with renal or cardiac insufficiency, oliguria, or anuria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    SIDE EFFECT:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Large doses may induce acidosis and worsen conditions such as brain and lung edema.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    PRECAUTIONS:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The solution should be heated to the animal’s body temperature before administration. Subcutaneous injection may cause slight swelling at the injection site, which typically resolves within 2-3 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    PACKAGING:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Available in glass vial of 200 ml and 400 ml.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    STORAGE:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature between 0\u00b0C and 25\u00b0C<\/p>\n\n\n\n
