COMPOSITION:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

100 ml of the medicine contains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Metronidazole 5 g.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Metronidazole, a nitroimidazole derivative, possesses both antiprotozoal and bactericidal properties. It is primarily excreted via urine within 48 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

APPLICATION:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suitable for all animal types, metronidazole is employed in the treatment and prevention of dysentery, colibacillosis, ameriosis, balantidiosis, salmonellosis, enteritis, septicemia, and post-surgical complications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DOSAGE:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Administered intramuscularly (IM), the dosage varies based on the condition:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • For dysentery caused by Treponema spp., administer 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight (5 mg of metronidazole per 1 kg of body weight).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • For dysentery caused by anaerobic organisms and balantidiosis, administer 2 ml per 10 kg of body weight.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • For rabbits and nutria, the dosage is 0.4-0.5 ml per 1 kg of body weight for 2-3 days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • For birds, administer orally at a dosage of 5-6 ml per 1 liter of water for 10 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Administer once daily until symptoms subside, typically requiring 1-2 injections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    CONTRAINDICATIONS:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Avoid use in cases of hypersensitivity to metronidazole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    WARNING:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Do not administer concurrently with alcohol-containing substances or during the first trimester of pregnancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    STORAGE:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Store in a dry, dark place at temperatures ranging from 5\u00b0C to 25\u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
