kanamycin sulfate \u2013 250 mg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PHARMACOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS:<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kanamycin, an antibiotic from the aminoglycosides group, effectively targets both gram-negative and gram-positive microorganisms. It acts on a wide range of pathogens including Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., and Staphylococcus aureus by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, inhibiting protein synthesis within bacterial cells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

APPLICATION:<\/span> <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Used to treat septicemia, mastitis, abscesses, phlegmons, respiratory diseases, urogenital system, and skin diseases caused by kanamycin-sensitive microorganisms in cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, dogs, cats, and poultry (chickens, turkeys).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DOSAGE & ADMINISTARTION:<\/strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Administered intramuscularly, subcutaneously, or intravenously at the following doses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Cattle and horses: 2 ml per 100 kg of weight once daily<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Foals and calves: 2 ml per 50 kg of weight once daily<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Pigs and sheep: 2 ml per 50 kg of weight once daily<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Dogs and cats: 0.1 ml per 1 kg of weight once daily<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Poultry (broilers, turkeys): 0.1 ml per 1 kg of weight once daily
    The treatment course typically spans 3 to 5 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    CONTRAINDICATIONS<\/strong>:<\/span> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Avoid use in animals with hypersensitivity to kanamycin or impaired renal function, hearing, or balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Do not combine with other aminoglycoside antibiotics, nephrotoxic antibiotics, muscle relaxants, anesthetics, sulfonamides, heparin, B vitamins, or diuretics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    PRECAUTIONS:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Meat and milk consumption is permissible after 6 and 4 days, respectively, following the last application. Utilize or feed meat and milk from treated animals only after consulting a veterinary doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    PACKAGING :<\/span><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Available in glass bottles of 50 and 100 ml.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    STORAGE:<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Store in a dry, dark, child-proof place at temperatures between 15\u00b0C to 25\u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
