Oxytetracycline is primarily excreted in urine and, to a lesser extent, in bile and milk in lactating animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-2-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-64cdb2a7a0b10f9cf736cbed4c792520\"><strong>INDICATION: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oxillin 25% is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by oxytetracycline-sensitive bacteria in calves, goats, poultry, sheep, and swine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-2-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-00f0264fe6a3344c3514b26dafaf8f90\"><strong>CONTRAINDICATIONS: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administration to animals with impaired renal and\/or hepatic function.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Concurrent administration with penicillins, cephalosporins, quinolones, and cycloserine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administration to animals with active microbial digestion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-2-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-79b64f5b3892281d1da310814fa11751\"><strong>SIDE EFFECTS: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Discoloration of teeth in young animals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hypersensitivity reactions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-2-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-49e27a5aa0138c5c2776aab6fb178dc5\"><strong>DOSAGE: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For oral administration:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Calves, Goats, and Sheep:<\/strong>&nbsp;1 g per 50-100 kg body weight, administered twice daily for 3-5 days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Poultry and Swine:<\/strong>&nbsp;1 kg per 5000 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: For pre-ruminant calves, lambs, and kids only.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-2-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7dafabae902daa86ca53da56a201d439\"><strong>WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>For meat:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Calves, goats, sheep, and swine: 8 days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Poultry: 6 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-2-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7b7c9901dde5767e50b406ba8385e73b\"><strong>STORAGE<\/strong>: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Store below 30\u00b0C in a dry place, protected from light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-2-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b9153a09123a42b41b072c840d7c97aa\"><strong>FOR VETERINARY USE ONLY!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>COMPOSITION: Contains per gram powder: Oxytetracycline hydrochlorid\u2026&#8230;..250 mg.
