Procaine penicillin G is a narrow-spectrum penicillin that acts bactericidally against primarily Gram-positive bacteria such as Clostridium, Corynebacterium, Erysipelothrix, Listeria, penicillinase-negative Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus spp. Dihydrostreptomycin, on the other hand, is an aminoglycoside with bactericidal action against mainly Gram-negative bacteria like E. coli, Campylobacter, Klebsiella, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, and Salmonella spp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-2-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5c4d526bffdad23215e48347111c116b\"><strong>APPLICATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This medication is effective against arthritis, mastitis, and infections in the gastrointestinal, respiratory, and urinary tracts caused by microorganisms sensitive to penicillin and dihydrostreptomycin. These microorganisms include Campylobacter, Clostridium, Corynebacterium, E. coli, Erysipelothrix, Haemophilus, Klebsiella, Listeria, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus spp. in calves, cattle, goats, sheep, and swine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-2-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ef774cae7c95614ec460452eda112c85\"><strong> <strong>DOSAGE <\/strong><\/strong> <strong>&amp;<\/strong> <strong>ADMINISTARTION :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For intramuscular administration:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cattle: Administer 1 ml per 20 kg body weight for 3 days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Calves, goats, sheep, and swine: Administer 1 ml per 10 kg body weight for 3 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ensure thorough shaking before use and avoid administering more than 20 ml in cattle, 10 ml in swine, and 5 ml in calves, sheep, and goats per injection site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-2-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-79b64f5b3892281d1da310814fa11751\"><strong>SIDE EFFECTS: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Administration of therapeutic doses of procaine penicillin G may result in abortion in sows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ototoxicity, neurotoxicity, or nephrotoxicity may occur.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hypersensitivity reactions are possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-2-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0ead3adf2043e23ee434d6054447ba44\"><strong>WITHDRAWAL: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For kidney: 45 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For meat: 21 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For milk: 3 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-2-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5e7639983d4b21805e050a9e00dac9a3\"><strong>STORAGE: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Store below 25\u00baC in a cool, dry place, and protect from light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-2-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b9153a09123a42b41b072c840d7c97aa\"><strong>FOR VETERINARY USE ONLY!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Composition: Each ml contains: Procaine Penicillin G\u2026\u2026200000IU Dihydrostreptomycin sulphate\u2026\u2026.200mg DESCRPTION : This combination of procaine penicillin G and dihydrostreptomycin offers additive and sometimes synergistic effects.
